This is by Blanche Chenery Perrin, the young lacy in this book knows this horse is a winner, and there is a thief on the farm, stealing the expensive feed, the story is about her trying to catch the thief and to help Whiskery, the horse, to become the race horse she knows he was born to be. A good story.
